Stuart has recently finished scoring MY BROTHER THE DEVIL (Dir: Sally El Hosaini) which made its world premiere in competition at the Sundance Film Festival 2012. Early reviews of the film have been hugely positive with both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter highlighting and praising his music. "Production values, especially the interplay between the images and Stuart Earl's score, are superb" - Variety.

He has also recently scored The Entire History Of You (Dir: Brian Welsh), the third one-off drama in Charlie Brooker's mini series BLACK MIRROR for Channel 4, which was written by Jesse Armstrong (Peep Show, Four Lions).

Other feature films that have screened at major international film festivals include Artifical Eye's IN OUR NAME (dir: Brian Welsh) and More 4's documentary GUILTY PLEASURES (dir: Julie Moggan), both of which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in 2010.

In 2009 he was named a "Trailblazer" at the Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF).  This award "celebrates and promotes the best and brightest new filmmaking talent" and showcases "emerging talent, who have produced some of the most innovative and outstanding work of the year."

Stuart read music at Oxford University before going on to study composition at the National Film & Television School. He was born in London, where he continues to live and work.

Stuart Earl
